The City of Norwalk is an authorized United States Passport Acceptance Facility. This facility is by appointment only.
Appointments may be made online 24 hours per day/7 days per week. Hours of appointments are Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and alternating Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This Passport Acceptance Facility offers the following services:
- Expedited Processing (up to three weeks turnaround time)
- First Time Passports
- Lost or Stolen Passport Replacements
- Passport Changes or Amendments
- Passports for Minors – special requirements for minors under the age of 18:
Per the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Consumer Affairs, non-refundable fees for passport services include an application fee (payable to the U.S. State Department of State by personal check, money order, or bank draft only – cash is not accepted for the U.S. State Department of State’s portion) and an execution fee in the amount of $35 (payable to the City of Norwalk by personal check, money order, bank draft, cash, or credit card).

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
In order for your passport application to be processed you must bring your valid California Driver’s license or identification, social security card, photos according to U.S. Department of State specification, payment, etc. (see check list).
