The City of Norwalk offers graffiti removal on all City facilities and buildings, medians, light poles, signal poles, and traffic signs citywide, seven days a week. The City's policy is to remove graffiti within 48-hours after it is reported. Graffiti is removed using paint or by applying an anti-graffiti chemical cleaner, and/or water blasting.
Graffiti may be reported to the 24-hour graffiti hotline at (562) 929-5555. When reporting graffiti, it is helpful in expediting removal if the following detailed information is provided: Specific location including address, intersection, or major cross streets; type of graffiti such as marker or paint; and surface where graffiti is located such as block wall, fence, sign, or painted curb.
