Contest Winners 2017In May, the City of Norwalk's Community Promotion Commission opened the Home and Business Beautification Contest, calling for nominations of properties, both single family and multi-family homes, as well as businesses, that demonstrate community pride.  Residents and business owners who devote time and effort in maintaining their property's curb appeal help to increase home values, maintain quality of life for others, and make themselves and their neighbors proud.

"We want to show our appreciation," says Commission Chair Christina Garamoni, "for all the hard work that goes into having a nice looking home or business. We all benefit from beautiful and well-kept neighborhoods."

Chair Garamoni, Vice Chair Art Sanchez Sr. and Commissioners David Ang, Josh Forsythe, and Mandie Trejo had the difficult task of selecting winners in June. "We thank everyone who participated," Christina goes on to say. "It's never easy choosing the contest winners."
